In August 2020 Simon moved from NYC to Berlin via Ireland at what appeared to be the height of a global pandemic. Upon arriving in Berlin it became clear that everyone was in a kind of a limbo between hibernation and regular life. Out of this limbo came some new possibilities. Simon and Miles began meeting weekly to improvise, and play some new-ish compositions of Simon's. Shortly after the first meeting we decided to record each subsequent encounter in order to document a particular musical moment. The result is this EP, a collection of compositions and improvisations recorded over a period of about 2 months. A snapshot of how things felt to us at that moment.
